My name is Allison Buchbinder.
I’m a hairstylist based in Seattle, Washington.
I am a Pacific Northwest native, and I have been doing hair for 12 years. I specialize in balayage and dimensional color, shags, retro/70s aesthetics, effortless, and curly hair types.
I am queer, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and use she/her pronouns.
I graduated from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in 2011, and started my career in a Seattle based Aveda salon where I worked for five years starting as an apprentice, eventually moving up to a full time stylist. Then, I moved to a bustling, fashion forward, queer salon in Seattle where I also worked for five years.
Today, I work independently at Hatch Hair Collective in a collaborative, creative, and beautiful environment.
I have honed my craft through taking advanced education, collaborating with other talented hairdressers, and drawing inspiration from styles of the past and the natural world.
